MMSCC/AHCA HILL CLIMB AND SHOW
Registration
for the hill climb and show opens at 8 AM
Saturday morning in the lower parking lot of the Point Lookout Resort
on Route 1 in Northport Maine.
Only British and
European pre 1985 cars are eligible to enter. The hill climb will start
at 9AM with drivers
completing registration for the
hill climb and show in the lower parking lot. Pre-registration is
recommended
as there is a limit to the number of cars we can run in the time frame
we have
so if you want to be sure of running, register in advance on the MMSCC
web site HERE under “Event Registration”.
You may pay the event fee at registration, sign insurance wavier and
receive
your car number and registration packet which contains your windscreen
card and
voting tickets for the show on Sunday. The event fees are: Hill climb
and show
$25.00. Hill climb only, $15.00. Show only $15.00. Make checks payable
to
MMSCC.
The
hill climb is a consistency run. Each team will have
three runs. The first run is the base run. The second and third runs
will try
to match the exact time of the first run. The team which comes closest
to
matching their base run time wins. NO PERSONAL TIMING DEVISES WILL BE
ALLOWED
ON THE COURSE.

The
Pine Cafe is just a few feet from the start line and you
can order Saturday lunch or Sunday
morning breakfast from the menu. The BBQ begins at seven PM at the Pavilion. During the BBQ, the
cars
will be parked facing in around the pavilion in our own private car
show.
The
package price for the weekend is is quoted below. One night stays
can also be arranged when you register.

for just the BBQ at $22.00 per person.
Sunday
morning JOHN TWIST from University Motors will host
an ENGINE TUNE-UP TECH SESSION at 9 AM
under the pavilion. If you work on your own car, this is a chance to
learn the
correct method from a nationally famous British engine guy. The car
show will
begin at 12 noon and run
until 4
PM next to the common in
the center of
downtown Camden. The show area will
open at 11 AM and cars
should be in
place by noon. If you
did not
participate in the hill climb you will need to register when you arrive
at the
show. Please follow the directions of the parking attendants and then
go to the
white tent to register. YOU CAN NOT SHOW IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A
WINDSHIELD CARD.
There are four Classes of British and European cars: 1939 and before,
1940-1955, 1956-1967, and 1968 through 1984. For more information
