THIRD ANNUAL MMSCC HILL CLIMB AND SHOW

Registration for the hill climb and show opens at eight AM Saturday morning in the lower parking lot of the Point Lookout Resort on Route 1 in Northport Maine. Only British and European pre 1985 cars are eligible to enter. The hill climb will start at nine AM after drivers have completed registration and tech inspection for the hill climb in the lower parking lot. Pre-registration is recommended as there is a limit to the number of cars we can run in the time frame we have available If you want to be sure of running, you must register in advance on the MMSCC web site HERE under “Event Registration”. When you arrive you may pay the event fee at registration, sign our insurance wavier and receive your car number and registration packet which also contains your windscreen card and voting tickets for the show on Sunday. There will be a break for lunch around noon.

The hill climb is a consistency run. Each team/car will have three runs. The first run is the base run. The second and third runs will try to match the exact time of the first run. The team/car which comes closest to matching their base run time in their second or third run wins. This year we have added a chicane to the course to prevent anyone from putting the car in second gear and flooring it to the top. You WILL have to slow down at some point on the course. NO PERSONAL TIMING DEVISES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE.
