Steve’s decades of personal experience with racing and wrenching, teaching and mentoring, inform his presentation, which will cover the history and basic designs of automotive braking systems. Racing propelled brake-system innovations, so Steve will comment on vintage sportscar brakes and their challenges, and display a few of the tools of the trade. Then he will describe some good practices as well as potential pitfalls of maintaining sportscar braking systems; to be followed by a Q+A session and open discussion.

The Tech Talk will be followed by Squire Motors’ Holiday Party from 4:00 – 8:00; all are welcome to stay for the food, drink & festivities.
