We had a really nice day today on the Northern Dustoff in Unity Maine.
The rain held off most of the day. Despite the ominous weather forecast, we had 32 people show up. The crew at Mammies restaurant did a great job. The food was excellent.
The train ride was enjoyable and I think Russell Manton enjoyed displaying all the baked goods his wife made at his Amandines Bakery.
And an excellent movie was had with numerous incredible chase scenes and a superb story line, in my humble opinion. Harry Overtoom gave a fact filled presentation on the origins of Fischer body with a sweet model of Napolean’s first carriage, body by Fischer.
Bravo to Bob & Jean for making and tasty batch of popcorn and for Edmund playing house frau with the vacuum. Thank you Sam for the photos and write up.
I know most you you put the vehicles in hibernation for 6 months but winter is Landrover time for me.
